On September 6, 2023, INGS LAB's academic paper on "Exploring the Function of Synthetic and Natural Peptides Combination in Reversing Aging and Oxidative Stress" was published at the 33rd International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC) Conference. The paper's innovative biological targets and synergistic effects have been internationally recognized. This article will review the efficacy targets discussed in the published paper.
The ADJ Peptides™ is a combination of synthetic and natural peptides that have been identified to have a multi-faceted approach to reversing aging. The peptides promote collagen production, increase skin's ability to resist light damage, reduce lipid peroxidation, and increase the expression of the barrier gene loricrin. The peptide combination has been shown to slow down the aging process and rejuvenate skin.
The data from 3D full thickness pigmented skin model experiments showed that using a certain concentration of the ADJ Peptides™ resulted in a 30-fold increase in collagen production and a 4-fold increase in the skin's ability to resist light damage.
The peptide combination also showed a decrease of 95.1% in lipid peroxidation and an increase of 132.5% in the expression of the barrier gene loricrin.
